Oil cleansing helps balance skin- the solid would be for those that like a little more substance in a cleanser. Comes in a minimal grit and a moderate grit - the "grit" is due to the amount of clays in the cleanser. If you are oilier, go with more grit, if you are drier - minimal grit.
